I build products around real problems.

I’m Uche Nnamani, founder and CEO of Fitness Space and co-founder of AERA. I like starting with people, testing ideas cheaply, and building technology when we understand what actually needs to exist.

What I’m building

Fitness Space logo

Fitness Space

AI-powered technology for healthier living.

Fitness Space began with WhatsApp groups. We worked directly with people trying to lose weight and live healthier, learned where consistency broke down, and gradually turned those lessons into technology. Today we are building Bibi by Fitness Space, Health Score, X2 Nutrition and technology for fitness coaches.

AERA logo

AERA

Building and scaling African startups for global markets.

AERA works with promising African founders from idea and validation through product, traction and scale. Our approach is simple: understand the problem, test assumptions cheaply, validate demand, then commit resources to building.

How I build

An open notebook of handwritten notes (the problem, start simple, what we learn, then build) beside a phone showing the Fitness Space app

Start with the problem, not the product.

I don’t believe every idea should become an app.

I prefer to start close to the problem, find the people experiencing it, build the cheapest useful experiment, watch what they actually do, and only then decide what technology needs to exist.
